Ries Against Ovarian Cancer

The picture of Ries hand taking her first chemo...

Few days ago I got a bad news from a friend that Ries got ovarian cancer - 1st stage. It was so shock and surprising as she is always very healthy and young too. But then I know that cancer don't choose age and they don pick people. I am very impress with Ries because she is such a strong girl and try to handle and fight the cancer all by herself. As for her friends and family, all we can do is to give her moral support. Each and everyday most of her friends will flood her FB wall with inspiration words and quotes and tell her that we really care about her and we hope that she will never give up no matter what!

All I can say is :
Ries! Gambateh! Don let the evil OC monster win! I want to see you K.O the OC monster real hard!!!

THE CANCER CHANT, I WILL RANT.
A poem contributed by a visitor of Healing Cancer Naturally
Cancer I did not give you the right,
To invade my body and take a bite.
This is my body and with all my might,
I will prevail with one hell of a fight.
To the cancer inside, I will battle and kill.
For that is my body's God given will.
To my cancer, these words I do send.
Your life is short and near the end.
(For Lucy & all those fighting cancer)

Hi Venie, regret to read about Ries's health problems.
With today's medical technology, I'm sure she'll pull thru.
Wishing Reis a speedy recovery.
Tell her a gentleman from Canada says, keep a song in your heart....and that our thoughts and prayers are with
her to a quick recovery.
Best regards.
