Bandar festive stalls - Gerai Perayaan Bandar

Every year there will be many festive stalls (Gerai Perayaan)  for His Majesty's birthday celebration. I always have many fond festive stalls memories in my childhood. Al thought this year the festive stalls celebration that I went is in another district of Brunei Darussalam, the feeling and the scents are still the same. Usually this festive stalls celebration will only go on for one month, hence there will be a lot of people flocking to the capital to visit the festive stalls. However we have no fear as the festive stalls locate just opposite to my kid's school, so we'll just park early near the school, pick up the kids and walk to the festive stalls.

Let's see what the stalls are selling this year, I suppose there'll be many Angry Bird...
Hie hie hie... found alot of Angry bird and the biggest Angry Bird in town.
It's too early so no performance yet on the stage yet, but Bryan do his little dance to entertain us :P

Since it's still early and many stall are not open yet, we decide to have something to eat. Let's see what choice we have:

Satay, satay and more satay
Nowadays' satay is fan by electronic fan.
They also have ABC, Pearl Milk Tea and Bubble tea...

Ikan bakar - Grilled fish marinated with spicy belacan

After the dinner, we go around the festive stalls one more time again to see if we miss anything.
Ahhh... a guy who sell Longan and bought himself a Mercedez - I Think. Kekkeke!

Sotong Tutuk and burgers

Grill chickens, hotdogs, Lamb chop and anything u want.

New kinda potato chips that will make u say WOW!

Cute Handmade keychains

Oh, my daughter's friend is here. Hi Dora~ Are u sleepy?

The largest Iphone in town. lol!
Too bad they are for kids and babies only.

OUT OF STOCK so fast?! It's only the second day =/

Even Domo-kun is here
Cotton Candy, Anyone?

The kids find something they like.

Thank u cleaner, for making our city clean.

The the traffic police officer too.

The night view of the festive stalls

It's already 7.08pm and the night are still young.

For every beauty there's an eye somewhere to see it. For every truth there's an ear somewhere to hear it. For every love there's a heart somewhere to receive it.

A Legacy Joke

Recently found this joke circulate around. I find it very funny, So i do this:

A little girl to girl talk - Aunty

Now Aple have turn to 5 and she is very chatty. She always has a girl to girl talk with me before she goes to sleep. Last night she told me about what her classmate's mom said to her.

Aple: Mummy, my classmate's mother said I look pretty today.
Me: Did you call her "Aunty"?

Aple: No, I forgot to call her Aunty 'cos u did not remind me.
Me: This is manners. You should know your manners.

Aple kept silent.
Me: You see your classmates - Pohyee, always call me Aunty when she sees me.

Aple: But why did Pohyee and Hana call you Aunty?
Me: You don't expect them to call me "Mummy", do u ?

Aple, Bryan and even my hubby ( who pretend to sleep but actually eavesdropping) rolling on the bed giggling.

Aple continues to say: They should call u "Grandma"!!!!

XD

P/s:
Why Aple confuse her classmates call me Aunty is because to Aple; Aunty is meant for ladies who are 40-50yrs old... kekekke

1234...

Wohooo! My blog just pass 1234 page views since i active back on 1st June, 2011. Ya, ya I know there's nothing to brag about. But I am just proud of myself can or not?

P/s:
Opps! Too Happy I forgot to upload the most important pic:

Dine at Three Points Restaurant

Last year december when I visited Kuching, Malaysia, my favorite restaurant is Three Points Restaurant. Not only because of the unique name given to the restaurant but also the unique design and most important thing of all the delicate food.

Three Points restaurant @ Kuching - Malaysia.

So this year when Three Points restaurant had their another branch open at Miri - Sarawak, I was so excited. Therefore my hubby and I decided to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday there.

Like the Kuching branch, Three points restaurant also have a half open kitchen outside.

The Feng Shui of Three Points Restaurant.

The VIP Golden Room, as u can see they have everything in Golden color.

My old friend, I'd met him before many years ago in Kuala Lumpur ;)

Bryan is very happy with the environment

The lobster and the appetizer .
Do not expect the lobster will have many meat although it look big. We were so famish that we double check the shell of the lobster again =S

The Peking Duck
It does not mean that the duck come from Beijing. This dish just cook in Beijing style although I don't think any special about it.

The complimentary dessert
There's a dish that is very salty and that's why we complaint to the waiter.... (Yes, we complaint because this Set Dinner is very Expensive la~ So We have the right to complaint) and the chef gave us the complimentary dessert. Look Yummy but not tasty for the mouth. I warn my hubby please don't complaint again or else the chef will give another tray of un-yummy complimentary dessert. :P

The food in Three points - Miri overall is just 50-50. Not as much as what I have enjoy in Kuching's maybe because it's a totally different dishes that we had order. In Kuching, we order Bak Kut Teh and some simple Veggies so maybe that's their best dishes.

p/s:
Fish, to taste right, must swim three times – in water, in butter, and in wine.
