Life is unpredictable.

Every morning everyone will need something to energize themselves up. Mine will be a nice cup of  Nescafe Coffee Tarik - an instants coffee mix with tea that will creates a nice tempting foam. My boy always call this foam *Bubble* and will order his bubble drinks - Teh tarik if we're eating outside.

My favourite Coffee in my favourite Trigger mug*

Just now, on our way to sent our kids to school I saw two old tourists, a couple.

Me: Daddy, you see these two tourists so old already but still manage to travel across the sea.
My hubby: Why not? They live in a good healthy life.

Me: Nah, I don't believe in a good healthy life. Last year my mother told me that her good friend pass away because of cancer and she and her hubby both live in a healthy life.
My hubby: That's because they are too concern with what they ate and don't have much antibodies.

Me: What? I don't think so. You know my cousin Mr. K, you know that he is obesity but still manage to go here and there and eat whatever he likes. He and my mother's good friend who pass away is around the same age.
My hubby keep silence.

I continue: Life is unpredictable, it's isn't because you are careful with what you eat and what you do, its will makes you live longer. You will never know what will come next.

That's why I eat what I like and do what I should with no regrets 'cos I don't wanna turn from being young and innocent  to old and guilty :P

Larry Crowne

Yesterday I watch a movie called Larry Crowne by Tom Hank and Julia Roberts. This movie reminds me of a debate recently happen in some other website. One said that a person must attend Uni to be prosperous and those who did not will fail, while the opponent says that a person can be success even thought one do not have any Uni certificates. Then the debates become a never ending story because both parties starts to call each other names and posting many vulgar words :(

Well, the movie - Larry Crowne is a superstar team leader who got fired because of the downsize of the company and they give excuse that why he is not promoted because he never went to college.

- Larry was hired by one stupid company I think. I would never fire a hard-working and responsible worker no matter what because one good and hardworking worker is much more better with those who are stupid, irresponsible and lousy manner workers no matter what qualification they got.

In the end, Larry's supervisor ( I think) who told Larry that he's fired and jokes abt Larry got himself fired by that company too and even insist a $2 for tips.

The moral of the story:
No matter u got the certificates or not u will get fired if u are UNLUCKY :P

p/s:
Give me the strength to walk away and forgive those who just don't care about anyone but the pay cheque. Allow me the humility and passion to not become them. You know how everyone says.."If you don't like your job, get a new one". Well I would like to say.. its not the job,  some people just need new co-workers.

The Jollibee Smiles....

After a few days of nagging and pleading by Aple, we finally give up and decided to go to Jollibee for dinner ;ast night. Luckily they have their gravy last night and surprisingly they change their normal " Coke plastic cup" to Jollibee Plastic cup. Very simple but nice.

Book Review: Mini Shopaholic By Sophie Kinsella

These days I feel like an urge to get some inspiration. This book catch my eyes because it came with a 2yr old Minnie who's favourite word is "Miine" Well, I don't really like Becky Brandon at first, but I think I need to at least like her a bit as this book is her point of view. She lies, and makes up stories but with her good heart and intention she is so lucky to get some helping hand to solve her problem. Some part it's very funny thou, like the part how she plan for the secret deliveries for her customers and also some hilarious letter she wrote to the Nanny Companies, Financial Cooperation and The Look writing to her begging her to ask her clients to STOP bringing clothes back. LOL!.

The part I like most is when Nanny Sue told Becky & her husband - Luke Brandon,  that Minnie is a very smart girl. And she said: " Intelligent children can often test their parents the most...."
Yes! Just like what I have expected that I am given test every single day by my kids.... Argh! Well, At least I know that my kids are normal smart kids, aren't they?

Too bad the book didn't end with Luke making up with his al-mighty mother - Elinor. Maybe I will need to get ready for the next edition of Shopaholic goes to Hollywood.
